Hello and welcome to Country Cottage Candles website. My name is Loretta and I am the owner of Country Cottage Candles. I am a mother of a beautiful 12 year old daughter Bailey and two wonderful step children Rebecca 10 and Cory 15. I am engaged to a wonderful man with whom I have been with for the past 9 years. I am an LPN who needed to find her inner hobbiest. I had pondered the idea of making candles for many years but never put the idea into play until now. I decided to make Soy candles because they are cleaner for the enviroment. That is not the only reason I chose soy though. My fiance's family are farmers. They produce soybeans and I feel like I am helping them also. If wax manufactureres are in the need of soybean then who else would they get them from. Your right, they are going to buy them from our local american farmers. So there you go it is a win-win situation. Soy candles burn cleaner and produce less soot therefore producing a cleaner air. Soy is also easier to clean than traditonal candle wax. Just a little warm water and soap and your worries of set up wax is gone. My candles are made with 100% pure soy wax with no additives.
